In a partnership with the City of Gig Harbor, Harbor WildWatch has opened the Visitor Information Center at Skansie House - a dynamic destination for residents, visitors, and boaters to learn about everything Gig Harbor has to offer.
Located in the heart of Downtown Gig Harbor, this interactive Visitor Center will inform visitors about the shops, dining, services, and lodging offered in Gig Harbor, as well as the marine life that makes living in this community so special. Introduces you to life in the Sound from sea slugs to shore crabs and sea stars to sea weed on low tide beech walks - there is much to discover. Experienced naturalist volunteers take you on a beech walk on local beeches in state parks on the Key Peninsula.
