1 Stark Example of Sound Learning
Access is Progress: Meeting MaKenzie

A promising young artist and aspiring marine biologist, 16-year-old MaKenzie's artistry is already a powerful force to be reckoned with - and her young career has only just begun. It is impossible to ask her about her aspirations and not be struck by her desire to bring about a positive change in our world, to impact her community for good and to broaden the understanding of her peers through her work.
Apprenticing under the iconic Americana master Eddie Harris for technical training (his experience includes 22 years working in Hollywood, and in his early days he worked production for the Scooby-Doo cartoons you and I grew up with), and working directly with the office of WSU Professor Dr. John Stark for academic guidance, her efforts promise to constitute an invaluable contribution to the artistic and academic body of work in the South Sound region: The illustration of Dr. Stark's work into a medium readily understandable to her community of peers.
