Give & Let Live - Directly benefiting those in need in our communities, and helping us spread a message Peace.
HOPE is the Meaning in the Message
Adrienne Casteele of the H.O.P.E. Foundation is a powerhouse provider of care and help to many in need in our city. At the heart of matters, our efforts encourage the people in our city to provide for others in need, giving clothes, food and other items directly to the children, women and men in need through the people providing Direct to Need.
Donations received will go to those providing services like H.O.P.E. Victims Advocacy Foundation. For years they have helped women over-come domestic abuse at no charge.
Peace encouraging H.O.P.E in real time.
As word spreads, more donations like these can be expected: Brand new, higher-end products gifted from one local business to the women the H.O.P.E. Foundation helps. These products were a gift at the Holidays for someone in real need.
You can do it, too: We show you and others exactly how to.
A local tradition reaching deep into the roots of our communities, our work provides the means for you to donate Direct to Need through us as we collect what you no longer need and distribute it to organizations already working at the local level to give to those in need.
Start gathering your warm weather clothes and non-perishable food items and starting the week of Dec 4, give at area events like the 6th Ave Santa Parade and the Dickens Festival at Stadium, as well as at community favorites like Tacoma's Terracrux Games, Bluebeard Coffee, Urban XChange and more. Stay tuned, and in the meantime start this Season right by joining us for a stellar community celebration at the 6th Ave Santa Parade, starting at 6th and State Street at 6p this Sunday, Dec 4. Show your support: Take pictures with the family, tag where you are and upload it to social media sites with the hashtag #Peace is in the Stars.
